{"id":354,"date":"2013-06-21T02:12:00","date_gmt":"2013-06-21T02:12:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/drmirkin.com\/2013\/06\/21\/salmonmousse\/"},"modified":"2013-06-21T02:12:00","modified_gmt":"2013-06-21T02:12:31","slug":"salmonmousse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/drmirkin.com\/?p=354","title":{"rendered":"Salmon Mousse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t1 cup bottled clam juice, <a href=\"https:\/\/drmirkin.com\/recipes\/stock.html\">bouillon<\/a> or water<br \/>\n\t2 envelopes unflavored gelatin<br \/>\n\t1 15-ounce can salmon (preferably red sockeye)<br \/>\n\t2 tablespoons capers (optional)<br \/>\n\t1 bunch green onions, sliced (white part)<br \/>\n\tjuice of 1 lemon<br \/>\n\t1 teaspoon oregano<br \/>\n\tpinch cayenne, or to taste<br \/>\n\t1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt<br \/>\n\tFresh herbs, lemon slices and\/or red bell pepper strips for garnish<\/p>\n<p>\n\tHeat the clam juice or bouillon in a small pot and stir in the gelatin to dissolve. Combine with the other ingredients except the sour cream or yogurt in a food processor and blend until smooth. Stir in the yogurt or sour cream and pour into a non-stick pan or mold. Chill until firm. Unmold and decorate as you wish.
