Advertisements on television claim that you can wrap a special belt around your belly, plug it into an electric outlet, turn on the electricity, and then watch your belly muscles contract to give you rock-hard belly muscles.
You can bet that the beautiful people who demonstrate the machines on television didn’t get their belly muscles from those machine. They got their washboard muscles from lifting weights because the machines do not generate enough resistance against their muscles to make them very big. The machines won’t help you lose weight because you can’t get rid of fat next to a muscle just by contracting that muscle.
If you want strong belly muscles, lie on your back with your knees bent, put your hands on your chest and do half situps every other day until your belly muscles start to hurt. To lose weight, you need to eat fewer calories or exercise more or both. See my recommendations on Weight Loss with Intermittent Fasting
